Welcome to the 2019 Men’s Golf League!!!
New for 2019- No byes, every team will play every week. It will be your responsibility to find a sub. Any Male Member of the Club can sub. Scorecards will be printed every week at 3:00. Please have your subs in by then.
The Divisions and Schedule will be out this weekend. League starts May 9th – Practice Round May 2nd , come on out and play with who you’d like when you’d like. Hope to see everyone and answer some questions.
The most common complaint about the 2018 version and previous versions is the Pace of Play. I have a solution for that, and we can unveil that in a couple weeks.

2019 Men’s Twilight Golf League Rules
- Play will be a shotgun start on Thursday nights at 5:15 PM.
- Divisions will be set up by the pro shop based upon combined handicap index. Maximum differential between partners will be 8 shots
- Match Play format – Team Better Ball
- SCORING: One (1) point per hole for a total of nine (9) possible points, if you win a hole you receive one (1) point, if you tie a hole each team receives half (1/2) a point.
- Matches are stroked off the low player’s handicap. Handicap percentage is 90%.
- Weekly teams can be comprised of one or two subs. Subs are not permitted in playoff matches.
- If one player from the team shows up the Match will be played 1 vs. 2 (or 1 vs. 1, if one each show up.)
- If neither player on a team can make a scheduled match and they cannot find a sub, THEY Forfeit that week’s match and take 0 points. Their opponent will get 5points.
- Once a match begins, if the match cannot be completed due to inclement weather, all remaining un-played holes are considered halved and the match results are determined in the usual fashion.
- Subs must be reported each week to the Golf Shop by Thursday at 3:00. Scorecards will be printed then.
- Make up matches must be played by the Thursday of the week to be missed.
